Offensive Subjects & Triggers: Nothing for me! On the other hand, Solas comes from Thedas which is a pretty awful place. He's a fairly serious and critical person so things like slavery, genocide, gross injustice, racism, religious intolerance, and more will come up.

IC PERMISSIONS

Physical Violence: OOCly I would like to avoid excessive descriptions of gore. ICly, go nuts. Beat him up, break him down, whatever suits your fancy. He's super-talented at magic, but in melee range he's not that effective.

Mental Information: Haha, it's not a pretty place in his head. Self-loathing doesn't even begin to cover it. Right now he's not in a very good place mentally. Telepaths and empaths are welcome to pick up on this, but he's actually very good at focus and distancing himself, so he won't let on to anything he doesn't want people to know. The only exception to this is extremely talented empaths. If they start reading his internal turmoils he will become defensive, withdraw, and ask them to stop. If they do not stop he'll become angry and leave.

Physical Affection: OOCly I think it's hilarious if someone tries but ICly he's really not too keen on it. He's a very solitary person, so it takes very special circumstances to get permission to touch him. Even if he's pining after someone he has a great amount of self-control and is able to maintain large amounts of distance and personal space.

IC Triggers: Quite a few things, actually. The Qun, people hurting his few friends, the Grey Wardens, people willingly giving up their agency, tea... More specifically, he doesn't take well to close-mindedness and ignorance, especially wilful. Talk about qualitative good/evil will also get a rise out of him, as he views these as narrow-minded concepts. Slavery is another touchy subject for him given his history. Unnecessary cruelty and pettiness are other things he doesn't take kindly to. Feel free to trigger him, just be prepared for a smackdown from a pretty self-righteous grandpa elf.

Relationships: Friendships are very welcome if he can get any. Although he's extremely solitary his greatest fear is dying alone, so go figure. Rivalries are welcome too; he already hates himself so it's not a surprise if others do. Relationships are welcome as well, but if it happens, it's going to happen with people who impress him, and it's going to take a looooong time because if he actually comes to care for anyone, he'd rather them stay away from him for their own good.
